What kind of weapons and gadgets will be used in the game?

Batman will have many weapons and gadgets including the Batarang and a high frequency transponder used for summoning swarms of bats to terrify enemies. There are lots of other great things but we want you to discover them for yourself ;)

What made you go with the darker Tim Burton style in favour of the newer more "high-tech" style of batman 2 and 3?

We feel this is how Batman was always intended to be portrayed and makes a brilliant game character.

Usually a game plot expands the film plot to allow for a longer experience. How much of the films plot is used or revealed in the game depends on what kind of game is being made.

Fear and stealth

Hi Ben, looks like a good game, I have a few questions about the fear and stealth aspects of the game.

How does the fear system work and how does it affect the NPC? Will you as Batman have to rely on fear to win against NPC or is it just a sort of a bonus added to the other things Batman will be able to do?

I always pictured Batman as a guy up on the roofs and lurking in the shadows, how have you made the stealth parts of the game work? Is it sort of like Splinter Cell, or more like the Pacman type stealth where you have to run and hide behind boxes as a guard passes and not really have a whole lot time doing stealthy things?

Last question, how big are the areas we'll be able to move around in as Batman? Will we see something like in Spider-man 2 where we had an entire city, or more like Splinter Cell with smaller areas?

Last one I swear! Who's the best movie-Batman? Now that you might have seen Christian Bale as Batman.

Stealth is a key part of the game. Batman must learn to use fear as his weapon to overcome his enemies.

The stealth is like Splinter Cell except you use it to scare enemies rather than to hide from them.

Gotham City has been brought to life in Batman Begins and you will be able to explore large parts of it in various levels.

The best Batman? Were there any others?

How was it to get the opportunity to continue the batman saga? Do you feel satisfied with the work you've done?

It was a fantastic honour to be asked to work on the Batman Begins game. We think Batman is a great character in and we feel that he is now portrayed in a way the fans will love in both the film and the game. It has been great to work with the film makers to bring the character to life and we are immensely proud of the work we have done on the game.

Controls

How will the contols be in the game? Is it third person?

Every effort has been made to make this a truly fluid and cinematic experience. Eurocom have gone to great lengths to make the controls as easy to use and intuitive as possible. It will be in third person for most of the gaming except in the awesome driving sections that will be a choice of first and third person views.

Hi, I can`t wait for the new batman game. I hope you guys can give us a solid gaming experience instead of just giving us another crappy movie-lisenced game. How is the game gonna play? Pure action or more of a "splinter cell" feel?
